Water temperature in Turkey
Weather in Turkey affects water temperature in the Mediterranean and Aegean seas: their waters warm up greatly in the middle of summer. In July and August the sea temperature in a coastal zone of Turkey reaches sometimes 28-29°C.
Water temperature in Turkey is influenced also by the mountain rivers: their cold streams dilute sea water cooling and desalinating it. Therefore choosing a hotel in Turkey not far from a mouth of the mountain river, be not surprised if water on its beach is some degrees cooler than on other beaches of the resort.
